Floods have struck again: Bangladesh calls for help
Bangladesh is in crisis. Since the July demonstrations that led to the fall of the government, the country has been hit by devastating floods. In August, floods hit the eastern and south-eastern parts of the country, and in October the waters moved northwards. These natural disasters have affected the lives of millions of people, including the children we support in their studies.

The final of the Monoshapara Boarding School Football Tournament 2024 took place on 12th September 2024, after starting on 25th August. The tournament featured eight teams named after popular footballing countries. The final pitted Team France against Team Mexico in an exciting match.

JASS boarding school children eat fresh bananas and healthy vegetables from their own fields. ADRA helped the school by investing in 2023 to purchase a pump to irrigate the vegetable garden. This project has not only promoted healthy eating habits among the children, but also educated the students about sustainable agriculture and self-sufficiency.
