When I hold a pencil and start drawing, I forget how small our house is and how hard my parents work every day. Drawing makes me feel free and happy. My name is Bandan Ratna, and I am a friendly boy studying in Grade One at Ambari Adv Pre-Seminary. I live in Ambari, the village where I was born, with my parents and my younger brother.

My father works as a day laborer, and my mother takes care of our home. They did not have the chance to go to school, but they dream that I will study well and have a better future. My favorite subject is Bangla, and I always try to finish my homework on time. I love playing football with my friends, and winter is my favorite season because I enjoy wearing warm clothes and drinking hot chocolate. I also like dogs because they are loyal. One day, I want to become a police officer so I can protect people and help my community. With support for my education, I can keep learning and working toward my dream.
