I love reading books and learning new things every day. My name is Anik Singh and I am in Grade Four at Seventh-day Adventist Maranatha Seminary. I was born in Birnagar and live there with my parents and my younger brother. My father works as a day laborer and my mother takes care of us at home. Even though my father works very hard, it is sometimes hard for him to earn enough money for our school and daily needs.

One day, I want to become a nurse. Some people say nursing is usually a girl’s dream, but I know it is a noble job. Nurses help people feel better and have a stable income to support their families. My favorite subject is Math, and I enjoy reading books, playing with my friends, and spending time outside in spring. I love rice and fish, and I dream of helping people when I grow up.
